Portable hotspot for just $30

If you're sick of the $20/day hotel charges for Internet access, this could be the perfect cure.  Amazon.com is selling the credit card-sized Novatel MiFi 3G hotspot card for just $30.  This card works on the Virgin Mobile (i.e. Sprint) network and delivers decent speeds for occasional mobile usage for up to 4 devices (great for those of you with multiplying iDevices).  It's a perfect travel companion for domestic Internet usage.  The best thing about the Virgin network is that it's pay as you go.  So if you only travel a couple times a year, you can get 30-day coverage for as little as $35.  I have used this card for 2 years and it's been a great lifesaver and has saved my employer a lot in Internet charges.

iPhone 4S for $50

Sprint is selling the iPhone 4S for $149.99, not including a $100 rebate via Amex gift card.  A good deal for a phone that sold for $200 not long ago.  But you will have to stare longingly at those iPhone 5 for two long years.
