Luxury watches at 90% off through Bing cashback

Bing's cashback program includes several luxury watch retailers.  You can get name brands like Tag Heuer, Movado, and Ebel at prices closer to those fake Chinatown watches.  Okay, not that cheap, but at least the price is only one digit longer, not two or three.

Before you plunk down serious cash on Cartier watches, be forewarned that Bing cashback is limited to $2500 per year per account.  Some good places to start shopping:

• Ashford.com: 50% off through Bing.  Not the cheapest prices to start, but many pieces start at 40% off (like the Tag shown on the right), so combined with the 50% off through Bing, you get a nice selection of watches at 70%, all shipped free.  Some Movados as much as 90% off.


• TheWatchery.com: 50% off through Bing.  A very similar store to Ashford.com.  Prices almost exactly the same as Ashford, so methinks there is some price collusion going on or they are owned by the same people.

As a reminder, use coupons with Bing at your own risk, since many people have reported that their cashback denied because of a coupon.  On the other hand, it is possible (but not guaranteed) to use Bing with other programs like Ebates and Fatwallet, if you click through Ebates/Fatwallet first, then use Bing.

Friends & Family sale on Tag Heuer watches

Instead of putting your money in gold futures, maybe you can seek refuge from the stock market by putting your money into expensive gold watches.  Okay, it's not the best strategy, but luxury company LVMH is having a friends and family sale, good for over 50% off certain watches.  LVMH owns brands including Tag Heuer, so you can get some coveted watches at bargain prices.

Free cosmetics (full sized, not samples)

Starting today, as part of a class-action settlement with several cosmetics firms, department stores around the country will be distributing $175 million worth of free cosmetics.  This is for anyone who bought qualified products from 1994 to 2003, but some stores apparently will not ask for verification.  The free cosmetics include brands such as Chanel, J'Adore, Estee Lauder, Lancome, and Givenchy.  Department stores include Macy's, Nordstrom, and Saks.
