Steep Amex discounts including 36% off any hotel stay

So imagine sharing all of the (mis)information in your Facebook account with a company that could in theory practice stalk you and accost you at will with random tchotchkes.  Well, Amex is running just such a promotion with sizable discounts that made me consider doing just that.  But I thought to myself, why do I need to let Amex know whenever I update my status to: "Just saved 90% on my toilet paper. Sweet!"

So I thought of creating a new "decoy" Facebook account, but then I wondered: won't Amex think I'm such a big loser when they see my Facebook account has no friends?  That's fine with me.  I'm looking forward to all the self-help book offers that Amex will send me soon.  Liking their Facebook page will let you participate in their "Link, Like, Love" promotion with offers through August 31 such as:

The best part about this is that you can combine offers because Amex doesn't know if you used a coupon.  So use coupons, cash back, and Amex to get some really good offers such as:
