I wrote about the
Continental OnePass Plus Mastercard a short while back, since it had a hefty 30,000 mile bonus plus a $50 statement credit. This week, they are offering you
50,000 (!) miles for the same card with the first year's annual fee waived. Well don't feel bad if you applied for it last week, when that was the best offer because they are giving people who've gotten this card in the last 60 days an additional 25,000 miles. This is a good deal because:
- 50,000 miles is a lot
- This is your last chance, because Continental OnePass is going away
- You can only earn these bonuses once in your lifetime from each airline (in theory, anyway)
- There are no heavy spending requirements
- 50,000 miles is a lot
If you really want to maximize your benefits here, you could apply using the
30,000 mile link first, get your statement credit, then ask for 25,000 miles later. You can follow people's success with this route on on this
Flyertalk thread.
Wait till February 1, and pick up some additional miles by pre-registering for the
Continental Mile-a-Thon.
