Free Google Voice invitation for .edu e-mails

Google Voice is a great little application that lets you route your phone calls conveniently and transcribes your voicemail for you (as well as a machine can, anyway).  And if you have a cellular calling plan that lets you receive unlimited calls from 5 or so numbers (e.g. some plans for T-Mobile and Verizon), then Google Voice gives you free incoming calls as long as you give out your Google Voice number.

Currently open by invitation only, but if you have a .edu e-mail, you can get a free invitation now (they sell for about $10 each on eBay).  Have Google subsidize your cell phone calls today!
