Microsoft is offering Windows 7 (upgrade) to students for just $30. To get this price, you need a .edu e-mail address. Like the Microsoft Office deal, you get a digital download and license key, but you can order a physical copy for $13 more (tax charged on the $13 only). You can choose between Windows 7 Professional (usually $200) and Windows 7 Home Premium (usually $120), and also between 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
Don't have an .edu address? Sign up for an Australia.edu address here. But beware that they could revoke your license if you are not actively enrolled (0.5 credits) in a education program.
