Microsoft's Bing offers cash back if you shop through their Bing.com search engine and shopping portal. At one point, things got a bit crazy, with Microsoft previously rebating 35% of your eBay purchases and 40% of your shoe purchases before things cooled down. You could have wisely assumed such insanity would never return again. But you would have been wrong. With the launch of their Bing brand, cash back is back to crazy levels for many retailers as of yesterday:
- Altrec: 24.2% back (see this post for ways to get stuff for even cheaper without violating Bing's terms)
- Ebay: 12% back (search for "wii"), up from 8%
- Foot Locker: 50% back
- Shoebuy: 38% back
- Zipzoomfly: 20% back, up from 2.5%
Especially good deals include shoes, outdoor apparel, and electronics. Do not use any coupons in combination with these offers, because Microsoft is getting stricter in its enforcement of its policy prohibiting the use of coupons (see clause 17g).
