Amazon is offering an 18-piece set of the J.A. Henckels Gourmet line for $212. This set lists for over $600 as the list price, but usually you can get it for about $300. It's an excellent set of knives. While Henckels has cheaper knives with their "International" line, those knives are made in China and of pretty poor quality. This J.A. Henckels Gourmet line is made in Germany and of very good quality (I have a couple myself). They're made of stamped steel, not forged steel like the higher end knives. Nevertheless, this is a great set!
