Apple upgraded its Mac hardware yesterday, and prices on its old models have been cut. You can now buy a Mac Mini for $475 (after a $25 rebate), down from $600 on Monday. Shipping is free after rebate. If you'd prefer not to deal with the 2 rebates, you can buy from Amazon for $500, shipped free. These older stocks usually sell out in about a week, so don't expect this deal to last long.
This is a great little machine that is perfect for hooking up to your big screen TV or for replacing an older computer (you could save over $50/year in electricity alone if you replace an old PC that you leave on all the time, because this uses low-power laptop parts).
The newer model is a little faster with a few minor adjustments (an extra USB port, a DisplayPort adapter, the faster Wi-Fi N standard, and nVidia graphics).
