With the new $229 Apple iPod Touch just announced, prices for the older, 1st-generation iPod Touches (8GB) have dropped by $100. The older iPod Touch doesn't have a speakerphone and shorter battery life (22 hours vs. 36 hours), but you can save $30 (and get it a little quicker) if you go with the 1st-generation iPod:
