Free Hyatt Platinum status (and breeze through airport security)

Hyattplatinum(expires March 31)

I lost my Platinum status on Hyatt this year.  [Sniff.]  So no longer could I raid the minibars at Hyatt executive lounges with abandon.  [Sniff.]  Until I found out that you can get free platinum status for 3 months.  Platinum status entitles you to room upgrades and better point earning power.  Stay once within 3 months, and your platinum status will be extended until February 2009.

Next, because you are now a Hyatt platinum member, you can join a club called Clear for free, which lets you go through a special VIP line at major airports including San Francisco.  Normally this club costs $128 per year.

Disclosure: No commissions earned.
