Logitech is selling its QuickCam Deluxe for Notebooks for $9 (after a $30 rebate). The rebate isn't Amazon specific, but other retailers are selling it for more (e.g. Buy.com sells it for $15). Webcams are great especially if you have kids and want the grandparents to keep pace. Works perfectly with most IM services.
This is a pretty good deal for a webcam that comes from the market leader. There's a top-of-the-line model for $47, after rebate. I have an older version that has great picture quality and never fails. It does run a little hot, though.
